Ingredients (1 cocktail)
- 2 oz ROCK IT Vodka
- 2 oz fresh blood orange juice (about 1 large blood orange)
- ½ oz simple syrup (see note)
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Blood orange wheel or wedge, for garnish
- (Optional) Sprig of fresh rosemary
BLOOD ORANGE ROCK IT
A Blood Orange ROCK IT Vodka cocktail is a striking, ruby-hued drink that perfectly balances sweet, tart, and herbaceous notes.
Method
- Juice & Measure: Squeeze your blood orange and lemon. Strain if you prefer a super-smooth drink.
- Build & Shake: In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, blood orange juice, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Fill with ice.
- Shake: Vigorously shake for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker frosts up.
- Serve: Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail over it.
- Garnish: Float a blood-orange wheel on the surface (or perch it on the rim). Add a sprig of rosemary or a dash of orange bitters if you like.
